During a coastal geography class in college I was surprised to learn how wave and wave energy works. This is my model how to capture wave energy as it approaches the shore - in this example I created my own shore, so hypothetically this structure could be portable. As I understand it, as a wave approaches the shore the ocean bottom affects the wave and it becom
es top heavy and spills over itself. The model I created below forces a wave to break over turbines that turn and generate electricity.
